ISO #3: Photog/Model Mixer/Shootout
This past March 18th of 2010, I organized my 3rd ISO event where models and photographers can come together to network and participate in a shootout for experience and portfolio development. All free of charge!
We met at a SouthWest Fresno location provided to us by Charlie Bones Photography which had an abandoned house and an old run down barn full of walnut crates. The location was absolutely perfect for an event of this size. 8 photographers & 11 models had a field day with this place and all the possibilities for sets. No two photographers were able to produce the same shot. ;)
Feel free to view the images which have been submitted to me by the various photographers from this event called ISO #3. More images will be added to the ISO #3 album as the photographers finish edits and submit images to me. Also, there are contact links provided for each photog and model who had participated. Contact info can be found within the album's description located just above the images.
Offsite galleries for this event can be found at: Ed Stevenson's SmugMug, Charlie Bone's (Flickr:RedZ).
ISO #2: Photog/Model Mixer/Shootout
So myself, and a couple other photographers were scheduled to complete a shoot with the staff members of a local radio station. The previous day, the radio station decided to postpone the shoot due to possible bad weather. So, instead of having a wasted day, we decided to do a group photo shoot.
Alecks Lara, Charlie Bones, and myself invited various other models and photographers to join us. It was kind of last minute but the turn out was good with the following people in attendance. (Photogs: Etch Graphics, Oscar Espinoza, Rhonda Mahan, Joe Osejo & Models: Brette, Hannah, Monique McNeal, Adrianna Fuentez, SoHollywood)
Photos some photos from this event can be viewed here in the ISO #2 album as well as the following off-site locations: Flickr:CharlieBones, BlogSpot:JoeOsejo.
Class of '99 San Joaquin Memorial Reunion
Lasher Photography has been busy lately with High School Reunions. This time, it was my pleasure to photograph this memorable event for the Class of 1999, San Joaquin Memorial High School. Much Thanks to Nick Gennock for recommending me and providing the opportunity to be of service.
This reunion event happened at the Holiday Inn Skyroom Lounge. There was a dinner and desserts as well as drinks for everyone. A DJ for live music to get everyone in the groove and creative awards for those participated in the raffle.
Definitely good people and great times. Thank you to all who attended and provide the wonderful material for me to create the images found in the online album.
Teresa's 40th Birthday at Gigi's Cucina Italiano
Birthdays are wonderful! Especially when you are surrounded by nothing but family and friends.
This past Sunday, I was commissioned to photograph during Teresa's Birthday celebration at Gigi's Cucina Italiano in Fresno. The family was very welcoming and extremely easy to work with. Nothing but smiles and joy for them during the event.
My only complaint is that I didn't have a second shooter with me to capture all of the moments that could have been caught. I can only hope that the 200+ images of moments that I did manage to capture will suffice.
Happy 40th Birthday Teresa from Lasher Photography

"I met Sal Hernandez on MySpace through a friend. After seeing how good his work was, I set up an appointment to take some pictures with my boyfriend. When I arrived to his studio, I met his wife Vero and she was hella cool and I really clicked with her. I felt really comfortable at his studio and the session went well. Not only is Lasher Photography great, the hair and make up his wife does is excellent. I recommend him to anyone that needs professional pictures."
